I know… I know…

This is a lot of posts for one day. But I wanted to fill the page across so it didn’t look so lopsided! LOL.

Trying to decide what to do about transportation. I am driving my Dad’s old ’92 Ford F-150 Flareside pickup. There are a lot of things to like about it, and, of course, there are several things to no like about it.

Thinking about replacing the engine, tranny and exhaust system, and then over time replace/restore the interior, etc. It’s not in bad shape, but I am afraid to drive longer distances with it. I want a vehicle that I can tow behind Elvira – The Paranormal Adventure Machine – and I can’t do it with the F-150 without disconnecting the driveshaft (she’s a 2-wheel drive). I also use the truck to carry my Mom’s Hoopty lift – her little electric scooter for shopping and the like. I’m planning on setting up a lift/hold device for the lift, so it can be removed when not in use.

Now, the other option is to buy something like a used Jeep, probably a wrangler, as they can be flat towed (toad) easily behind Elvira. I’d then keep the truck for hauling the hoopty and making dump and home depot runs, and use the jeep for back and forth and out of town adventures.

Just thinking….
